A Bit About Me & Muir Rock
"The mountains are calling and I must go"
- John Muir (also on one of Teri's favorite shirts)

My name is Erwin Edillon and I live in Irvine, California. This is the blog I never expected to create.

The current aim of this platform is to share my thoughts and experiences, stemming from the profound impact of my beloved wife Teri's passing on April 2, 2023, due to cancer. Initially, I began my blogging journey on Teri's Caring Bridge, where I provided updates on her battle with cancer. However, since her departure, I've discovered the therapeutic value of continuing to share our journey.

Teri, who was a skilled front-end developer at Truist Bank, and has inspired me in so many ways. Reflecting on her professional and personal endeavors motivated me to establish this website.

Nestled at the end of Highway 180, the breathtakingly scenic drive through Kings Canyon, Muir Rock stands as a distinctive landmark within California's Kings Canyon National Park.

Muir Rock holds a special place in my heart as Teri introduced me to it during our trip to Kings Canyon in May 2017. Despite the initially cumbersome journey because it was so "out of the way," the location grew on me over time. I even secured the domain name for it, although I struggled to find a meaningful purpose until now. Thank you for reading and coming along with me on this journey.
