Recovery Going Well :)

Hi everyone,

I’m very thankful for how much love and support we have gotten since we got home from the surgery. We don’t deserve it! There is always too much food, and whenever we start to get bored of watching TV, someone saves us with a visit. Last night we had a lot of fun playing games with Sky, Matt, and Mindy.

While it’s still a challenge for Teri to walk and get in/out of bed, we were able to make it to church today. First time getting her out of the house since surgery! It was a really good sermon on Ephesians 5 and the importance of mutual submission in relationships. I am thankful to attend Buckhead church when I am here and that it’s only a 15-minute drive away.

I’m a bit bummed that I’ll be going back to SoCal on Wednesday, but I know that Teri is in great hands with all her friends and family here. Thank you again for everyone’s help in making her recovery week so much easier for us. I’m enjoying my time here very much and look forward to coming back in early November.
